In an effort to encourage social entrepreneurship, The Romanian Business Exchange, in partnership with the Social Economy Development Foundation, launched the Social Business Exchange, an online platform designed to discover, spotlight, and promote the region’s greatest ideas for building social value.

In these challenging economic conditions, forward-thinking governments all over the world are focusing on raising the quality of their social infrastructure by improving service delivery and cutting costs. Social entrepreneurship is gaining momentum as a viable alternative and causing excitement for many good reasons. Social enterprises are mission driven initiatives that apply market-based strategies and entrepreneurship to maximize social impact, while benefiting the local communities.
The Romanian Business Exchange, the leading business matching platform in Romania, in partnership with the Social Economy Development Foundation, launched the Social Business Exchange - a dedicated section on the rbeX online platform where Social Entrepreneurs can present and promote at the international level their business needs and opportunities.
In this way, RBEX is leveraging the power of the Internet to bring together both investors and social business entrepreneurs, by making available free of charge the business platform to the Social Entrepreneurs, helping them to get international exposure.
Through this exciting initiative social entrepreneurs have the opportunity to gain:
