Vice-President

Sorin is the Vice-President of the Romanian Business Exchange, and is also a Member of the Board. 

He is also the founder of Global Vision in 2004, initially as a network infrastructure provider for real estate developments. Within a year, the company was operating large scale developments such as City Mall, PGV Tower, City Mall Parking. Subsequently, the company developed an outstanding department of civil engineering and project management, expanding quickly into the building construction field and becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the country.

Prior to establishing his own business, Sorin Preda had a 13-year+ career in management, most of which have been spent in the IT&C industry. His Romanian and international experience with Motorola and Vodafone has enabled him to thoroughly understand key issues at both corporate strategic level and sales & marketing management level.

Founding member of Romanian Cricket Federation, lecturer within Brand Academy’s Corporate University, frequent speaker at various business conferences, Sorin Preda takes special interest in business literature and history, as he believes the two are highly interconnected and provide a solid basis for a comprehensive business and human understanding.

Violeta is currently the M&A Director at rbeX.

Prior to rbeX, Violeta had run for 11 years the local subsidiary of German M&A consulting company FCI Fischer International GmbH, managing numerous M&A projects and strategy audits.

She has particular strength in corporate acquisition and sale transactions, related financing issues and preparation of complex sale-purchase operations, having advised both sellers and buyers in sophisticated transactions.

Violeta is skilled in drafting of merger plans, due diligence reports and documents substantiating several transactions as well as in negotiating various types of transaction documents. Furthermore, she has acquired significant experience in matters involving structuring of complex transactions in wide varity of industries.

Radu has joined the Romanian Business Exchange team as a Member of the Board, adding to RBEX a distinct combination of investment banking, advisory, finance and valuation experience.

He has held a number of senior positions within different multinational companies including the position of Head of Capital Markets for Jones Lang LaSalle Romania and Managing Director  of King Sturge Romania, while his responsibilities extended to investment, professional services, valuation and research. 

Radu is the Chairman of the Romanian RICS board and an experienced property professional with over 15 years experience in Investment, Valuation and Property agency within the Romanian market. Recent work include consultancy and reporting instructions covering loan securities, projects acquisition, development appraisal, feasibility studies, complex marketing reports, portfolio analysis, financing/debt arrangement, acquisitions/disposals, demand and catchments analysis for major institutional clients worldwide. Client portfolio include :HSBC, Hilton Worldwide, Plaza Centers ,Starwoods ,Catalyst, Immofinanz  , Merrill Lynch , Ablon Group

Sorina has over 10-years experience in the insurance industry and extensive business expertise in the medical field.

She has worked in the medical technology industry, serving med-tech clients in customer strategy and segmentation, quality, safety, and promotional compliance.

Sorina is leveraging her work experience with some of the major medical and insurance brands, such as Dental HQ, Aviva Insurance SA, AIG, AIG Asirom, and her in-depth understanding of the Romanian medical system, both at corporate and individual level, in order to provide for the ongoing success of the Rbex partnerships.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Hyperion University in Bucharest.

Camelia joined the rbeX team as Communications Manager in 2011, after a 7-year professional experience in the United States.

Prior to joining rbeX, Camelia worked for 5 years as Marketing Manager for the Romanian National Tourist Office in New York, where she helped raise brand awareness through media relations, partnerships, and social media campaigns.

Camelia has also worked for two years with the World Bank Public Utility Research Center, focusing on developing programs that would enhance the economic, technical, and policy skills required for implementing policies and managing sustainable regulatory systems for infrastructure sectors.

She holds a degree in International Economic Communications from University of Florida.

Valentina is in charge with preparing business listings, teasers, and financial statements.

Attention to detail, great understanding and knowledge of the financial intricacies of business finances, as well as previous experience in real estate brokerage and sales, would make Valetina a great asset to any company. We are very happy she is on our team. She graduated the University of Manufacturing Engineering in Bucharest.

Social Business Department

Nicolae is in charge at rbeX with the Romanian Social Business Exchange platform.

Nicolae has a M. Sc. in Social Management and Community Development and has attended different trainig (of trainers) programs at prestigious institutions in Europe: EURICSE (Italy), INWENT (Germany), IPA (Ireland). Nowadays Nicolae is training (social) entrepreneurs in Romania in the frame of different ESF funded projects for IRECSON, Brand Academy, Civil Society Development Foundation, JCI, Open Society Foundation.

He is national representative in CEE Citizens Network and in Sustainable Business Network in SEE.

He has also managed 2 companies in early ‘90s and established starting with 1999 several NGOs (Romanian Association for Community Development, the Association of the Consultants in Community Development, Social Economy Development Foundation) that have generated the social capital necessary for the apparition of the first social enterprises in Romania.

Catalina Iftimia

Legal Advisor

Catalina is specialized in international comercial law.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Law and Public Administration, graduating as a Valedictorian.

Catalina also gaind experience in debt collection and in negotiation of the international trade contracts.

She is both fluent in English and Spanish.
